Hundreds of species of birds -- you hear them first, their wings smacking the air like a soft whip.
And smells - wild flowers and fragrant fruits and lush green smells coming from the shoreline vegetation. It is fresh water, not brackish or salty -- the smells of a river are so different from an ocean shoreline.
Even in rain our silent little boats reveal a natural world with sounds and smells you can experience no other way
The weather changes constantly - it's what nature does best
If it gets chilly with a passing downpour we have paddle jackets. The umbrellas can keep you moderately dry, but if you are in these boats, staying dry won't be your priority.
Taking pictures or simply watching nature - the silent boats take you as close as you need to be
No rush. Take your time. Explore at your own pace
Maneuver under the overhanging trees, to find nests and lizards and frogs and turtles. Get close to branches with capuchin monkeys.
